Goldilocks and Red Riding Hood is a 1989 American animated musical fantasy film directed by Nadia Hanson in her directorial debut. Produced by Viacom Pictures and Viacom Animation, the film based on first two fairy tale, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Little Red Riding Hood, and features the voices of Amy Green and Candace Hustson. The film follows Goldilocks and Red Riding Hood meet each other after they get in trouble with the bears and Big Bad Wolf. Together, they would find their home while being chased by the Big Bad Wolf.

During its production, Viacom made changes for both the movie and A Wishing Fish, which caused Carolina Zavala to leave her films as she would start working on a new animation studio in Burbank, California.

Goldilocks and Red Riding Hood was released theatrically on December 8, 1989 in the United States by Paramount Pictures and internationally by Universal Pictures. Upon release, it was met with positive reviews from critics, many of whom praised it for its really good animation and its touching story. However, the film underperformed at the box office, only making about $103 million worldwide on its $59 million budget, most likely due to the fact that it was overshadowed by Walt Disney Pictures/Walt Disney Feature Animation's The Little Mermaid. However, it was successful on home video, becoming one of the biggest-selling VHS releases ever.
