Paramount Feature Animation London was a division of Paramount Feature Animation, opened in 1995 after Paramount acquired Amblimation's London studio due to the success of Meredith's Journey. The company had primarily animated Natalia's Story and The Wizards.
Paramount Feature Animation London began operations in March 1995. In November 1996, the London division's first feature film, Natalia's Story, was released. After doing its first work, the division was enlisted to help finish the live-action/animated film Animated Quest.
In January 2004, Paramount initiated a reorganization of its theatrical and animation units to improve resource usage and continued focus on new characters and franchise development. In January 2004, 50 animators were laid off after Noveltoons: Wacky & Out! finished up production.
On January 15, 2005, Paramount Feature Animation president Max Howard announced the shut down of Paramount Feature Animation London. The studio is now became a self-storage facility called Access Self-Storage. Some laid-off animators were offered transfers to the main studio while most chose to stay in London or were recruited to work for rival animation studios.
