Riku Kane is an American action-adventure game series created by Sonny creator Ryan Coleman and Mistress Hope creator Taichi Kioshi, being developed by Eurocom (1994-1996; 2005-2011), Game Media (1998-2003), Paramount Digital Arts (2005-2007), and Paramount Game Studios Japan (since 2014) and published by Paramount Digital Entertainment since September 20, 1994.

  • Soyna Takahashi (voiced by Jill Talley) - a teenage girl who is Riku's best friend as she follows him whatever he goes. Despite that, there are hints that Soyna has a crush on Riku.
  • Luke Locksmith (voiced by Patric Zimmerman from 1995 until 2000 and James Arnold Taylor afterwards) - Riku's other best friend who can transform into any form of animal, often using it to solve several situations.

This franchise received critical acclaim and is considered one of the most iconic Paramount video game franchises, alongside Crazy Rush!, Double Agent, Soundway the Braver and Crystalline the Heroine, being praised by critics and fans alike for its plotlines, its blend of action and comedy, its artstyle and its character development.
