The film was directed by Dallas Sharp and produced by Randy Fullmer based on a screenplay by Karey Kirkpatrick and Jordan Roberts and written by Sharp, Julie Young, and Kirkpatrick. The film stars the voices of Elijah Wood, Katie Holmes, Elizabeth Perkins, Alec Baldwin, Dave Grohl, Melora Hardin and Christopher Lloyd.
