United Plankton Pictures is an American television and film production company founded in April 1, 1998 by animator and marine biology teacher Stephen Hillenburg. Its headquarters is located in Burbank, California. Its most notable productions include the animated television series such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Sailor Duo, Jenny & Violet, Let's Go Lyric!, Pets Adventures, Tex and Avery, Canine Legends and Family from the Dead.
The studio is primarily associated with Paramount Television Animation and Nickelodeon Animation Studio, but also with some other studios such as Universal Animation Studios, Sony Pictures Animation, DreamWorks Television Animation and UltraToons Studios.
